The Rippleworks Capital team is responsible for supporting the deployment of ~$70M in the form of loans (30%) and grants (70%) annually. The Managing Director - Capital will evolve and advance Rippleworks’ investment strategy to maximize impact by providing flexible forms of funding to social ventures in the Rippleworks portfolio. You will drive the Rippleworks investment process to be lean, anti-bureaucratic and pro-venture. The Managing Director - Capital will manage the team to work across the full investment lifecycle of sourcing, diligence, investment recommendations, learning and active portfolio management. You will engage with key internal stakeholders, including working with the Programs teams and Portfolio teams to constantly evaluate how capital can accelerate impact in partnership with Rippleworks non-capital programs. Demonstrated ability to evaluate organizations for specific criteria, such as depth of impact, business model viability, stage of growth, strength of team.
