
Senior Varicent Consultant, Managed Services at OpenSymmetry. A Senior Consultant is responsible for the configuration and troubleshooting of performance management solutions to meet the client’s business and technical requirements. In this role, the Senior Consultant acts as the primary technical contact with full ownership of the relationship between OpenSymmetry and our clients from a technical perspective. In this role, you will have the opportunity to work directly with our Fortune 500 client base through a variety of industries throughout the US.. . Responsibilities in this role also include supporting and troubleshooting solutions for customers in a live production environment. Additionally, you may also work within the software implementation lifecycle, from requirements gathering, design, build, testing and go-live. Sr. Consultants will work as mentors to junior team members while carrying out the tasks to perform investigations, root cause analysis, and defect resolution for our array of clientele. . . Demonstrate a strong working knowledge in the configuration of Varicent software to specific business requirements. . Easily navigate complex customer models and provide guidance to customers and OS consultants. . Provide accurate effort hour estimates for defect remediation. . Provide key information to delivery teams regarding scope of new work and corresponding effort hour estimates. . Develop requirements & design documentation. . Share expertise with colleague / team members. . Approach a complex task or problem by breaking it down into its component parts and consider each part in detail, inclusive of identifying upstream and downstream impacts. . Direct others on operational support tasks. . Create operational process documentation in support of SOW. . Demonstrate deep knowledge of practice specific concepts and best practices (such as SPM, incentive compensation, HCM, CPQ, etc.). . Understand when and how to switch to a different strategy when an initially selected one is unsuccessful. . Monitor progress and put effort in where is most needed. . Assist with creation of project work plan including sequencing of tasks, migration and implementation documentation. . Nice to Have Skills. . Bachelor’s degree or higher / equivalent work experience. . 4+ years configuring Varicent Software. . 4+ years working in SPM consulting. . Prior technical consulting & client facing experience . . Advanced skillsets in Excel / Spreadsheet software . . Expert level communication skills including writing, listening and speaking . . Company Location: United States.
