We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Infrastructure Automation Engineer to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will be a technical leader with a strong background in designing, building, and maintaining scalable and reliable cloud-based platforms. This role requires deep expertise in automation, excellent communication and presentation abilities, and a comprehensive understanding of cloud technologies.. Responsibilities. . Design, implement, and maintain robust and scalable cloud platforms using infrastructure-as-code principles.. . Develop and implement automation strategies for platform provisioning, deployment, monitoring, and operations.. . Drive continuous improvement of our cloud infrastructure, focusing on efficiency, security, and cost optimization.. . Collaborate with development teams to ensure platform capabilities meet application requirements and best practices.. . Act as a subject matter expert on cloud technologies and automation, providing guidance and mentorship to junior engineers.. . Present complex technical concepts clearly and concisely to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.. . Evaluate and recommend new technologies and tools to enhance our platform capabilities.. . Troubleshoot and resolve complex platform issues, ensuring high availability and performance.. . Proven expertise in designing and implementing automation solutions using tools such as Terraform, Ansible, Puppet, Chef, or similar.. . In-depth knowledge of Google Cloud Platform including their core services (compute, networking, storage, databases).. . Strong understanding of containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes) and orchestration.. . Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., Python, Go, Bash, PowerShell).. . Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate technical information effectively to diverse audiences.. . Experience with CI/CD pipelines and methodologies.. . Solid understanding of networking concepts, security best practices, and monitoring tools.. .
