Business Development Representative at Sidetool. The Challenge We’re Offering. At Sidetool, we’re not building a traditional sales team. We’re looking for someone deeply curious about tech, product thinking, and real business needs. This role is about conversations, not quotas. It’s about connecting with real people, asking the right questions, and spotting opportunities where we can genuinely help.. You don’t need years of experience or a portfolio full of closed deals — you need the drive to learn fast, understand complex ideas, and explain them in a simple, human way. You’ll be the first point of contact for many potential clients, and your goal will be to open the door to meaningful conversations — not to push or pitch.. What Sidetool Does. We’re building the next wave of AI for real business problems. We want to create powerful AI agents that take over the repetitive, manual work still clogging up back offices everywhere. We’re starting with things like voice, logistics, customer service, and heavy admin tasks, but our vision is much bigger.. Every project we work on helps us in one of two ways: it either builds our core AI toolkit for the future, or it connects us to real customers so we can understand their pain points even better.. We’re not a general agency. We’re a focused team of AI specialists who want to shape how work gets done. If you want to help build practical AI that actually makes a difference, you’ll fit right in.. Are any combination of ninja, rockstar, or guru.. . Enjoy big-reveal moments after working siloed on a project.. . Consider joining if you. . Value a teammate approach to company building.. . Enjoy working in flat-ish hierarchies.. . Think that there’s still a ton for you to learn.. . Believe in openly sharing progress as you work.. . Believe in giving and receiving candid and transparent feedback.. . Are capable of having robust debates.. . Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and build rapport with prospects.. . Familiarity with CRM software and sales tools.. .
