Our Client is a U.S. based, wood rot repair and preservation Company. They operate through a growing franchise model across the U.S.. About the Role. Our Client is seeking a detail-oriented Accountant to join Our team and take ownership of all bookkeeping functions across multiple entities. This role is hands-on, working closely with the COO to ensure accuracy, transparency, and timely reporting. You will be responsible for maintaining financial records, preparing reports, and supporting Our franchise operations with reliable bookkeeping services.. . 2+ years of bookkeeping/accounting experience with small to mid-sized businesses ($1M–$5M+ revenue).. . Strong proficiency with Quick Books Online (required).. . Solid knowledge of U.S. bookkeeping practices; familiarity with U.S. tax codes is a plus.. . Experience preparing financial reports and reconciliations.. . Clear and effective communicator (email/chat/meetings as needed).. . Flexible schedule with availability during U.S. business hours (8am–5pm CST).. . Ability to dedicate 40 hours/week, with occasional reporting tasks required early Mondays.. . Maintain accurate financial records and prepare reports in line with GAAP.. . Reconcile accounts, bank statements, and franchise payments for multiple entities.. . Manage accounts payable, receivable, and payroll entries.. . Handle AR duties including drafting invoices for royalties and fees.. . Support budgeting processes and assist with year-end audits and tax compliance.. . Provide franchise owners with billing support, financial reports, and bookkeeping services.. . Identify opportunities to improve accounting processes and systems.. . Work closely with the COO and operations team to ensure financial accuracy and transparency.. . Prepare weekly reports (AR, project reports) for Monday mornings.. . Manage month-end closings and reconciliations, ensuring books are closed by the 10th–14th of each month.. .
