We are currently looking for a Director of Sponsored Programs Administration in United States.. This role is designed for a strategic, detail-oriented professional to oversee the full lifecycle of sponsored programs and grants. You will partner closely with project leaders, contractors, and cross-functional teams to ensure proposals, budgets, and financial reporting meet sponsor requirements while maintaining compliance and accuracy. The position requires strong analytical skills, excellent communication, and the ability to manage complex projects across multiple stakeholders. You will provide critical financial insights, monitor project performance, and contribute to effective decision-making. Support the development of new proposals by drafting budgets and compiling financial documentation.. . Present budgets, expenditure forecasts, and reports to project leaders and executive management.. . Collaborate with contracts and philanthropy teams to complete internal paperwork, disclosures, and maintain accurate award records in databases.. . Assist project leaders with budgeting for grants and contracts, including award acceptance, revisions, and implementation.. . Perform regular variance analysis of sponsored accounts and resolve discrepancies in collaboration with accounting teams.. . Review purchases, service payments, and reimbursements charged to grants, ensuring proper account allocation.. . Prepare financial reports in compliance with sponsor requirements and track staff effort to maintain adherence to sponsor policies.. . Participate in ad hoc projects and initiatives as assigned to support the department and organization.. . . Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree preferred or comparable experience.. . 5+ years of experience in grant administration across the full grant lifecycle: proposal submission, compliance monitoring, budget tracking, and closeout.. . Familiarity with government and private foundation grant reporting requirements.. . Strong understanding of financial and budgetary principles, including federal Uniform Guidance.. . Experience managing fee-for-service contracts and deliverables-based payment agreements.. . Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in financial documentation and reporting.. . Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present financial information clearly.. . Ability to work independently and collaboratively, navigating geographic and organizational barriers.. .
