Junior Collector at Freelance Latin America. The primary purpose of this role is to proactively manage commercial debt recovery. This position exists to ensure optimal cash flow by effectively communicating with debtors and executing detailed investigative processes while ensuring all actions align with legal compliance and Florida collection laws. The Junior Collector provides strategic value by converting outstanding accounts into recovered capital through persistence and operational precision.. Duties / Tasks to perform. Conduct commercial collection calls to debtors as the primary focus of daily activities.. Execute follow-up communications via email and phone to secure promised payments.. Maintain an excellent command of English for professional verbal and written correspondence.. Perform comprehensive skip tracing and research using Google, Secretary of State, and county property records.. Follow the detailed investigation manual to identify current addresses and entity statuses.. Recognize legal triggers during the collection process to ensure compliance and proper escalation.. Accurately record all investigative steps and updates into the Case Tracker management system.. Participate in a collaborative environment through Teams, email, and internal calls.. 2+ years of experience in commercial collection calls or as an Accounts Receivable (AR) clerk.. Solid understanding of Florida collection laws and legal compliance.. Skilled in using Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and OneDrive.. Fully bilingual in English and Spanish.. Capable of learning Case Tracker and following precise investigative procedures.. Confident and comfortable making specialized collection calls.. Highly organized with the ability to follow manual guides exactly.. Proactive, team-oriented, and driven to succeed.. Schedule: Part-time within the 8:00 am to 6:00 pm EST window. .
