Accountabilities. As an NCDR Abstractor, you will:. . Review and abstract cardiovascular registry data from medical records.. . Ensure compliance with national quality care processes and clinical outcomes.. . Document and report data for multiple registries, including Cath PCI, PVI, STS/ACC TVT, ACTION, ICD, IMPACT, and LAAO.. . Communicate effectively with clients regarding data collection and reporting.. . Maintain accuracy and timeliness to meet client deadlines.. . Stay current with coding and abstraction rules, manuals, and guidelines.. . The ideal candidate will have:. . Graduation from an accredited nursing program (RN/BSN) or other healthcare program.. . Current license to practice as a Registered Nurse.. . Proven experience in clinical data abstraction or healthcare information management.. . Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) and related software.. . Strong computer literacy, including Excel, web browsers, and web-based applications.. .
