Experienced Sales & Production Estimator (006-00626) at Hunt St. ​​Looking for Philippines-based candidates. Job Role: Experienced Sales & Production Estimator . Compensation range: $1500 AUD - $1800 AUD / Monthly. Engagement type: Independent Contractor Agreement. Work Schedule: This role is expected to align with the AU business hours (approx. 9 AM - 5 PM, Monday to Friday) for collaboration, but as a contractor, you’ll have flexibility in how you manage your time.. Role Overview:. This position is responsible for ensuring the profitability of the business through cost-saving and efficiency initiatives as well as the accurate and effective execution of all estimating-related work.. KPI’S. Achieve quarterly Term Improvement Priorities . Ensure that every tender variation is priced with minimum 25% margin / 35% markup . Ensure highly accurate sales BOQ’s. Ensure Production BOQs are sent to site with any ETS to remain under 1.5% overall. Key Responsibilities:. Production Estimation. Produce accurate final BOQs for each specific build within 5 business days of submission to estimating department (Subject to quotes and any Information pending). Provide Estimating plan mark ups for errors and variations missing on plan. Report site start margins against sales margins with feedback regarding any discrepancies at BOQ completion and after 13 weeks maintenance completed. (Two Margin sheets per job, start & finish). Provide completed purchase orders to construction team within 2 business days of request submission for non-urgent items . Provide completed purchase orders to construction team on the spot for urgent items/requests . Support and work collaboratively with the construction team to ensure optimum efficiency at all times  . Sales Estimation (With prior experience). Produce accurate fixed-price sales tenders within an average of 2 business days of submission to estimating department (If base price of home is available). Ensure that all completed tenders achieve the Tender Quality Standards. Ensure all sales tenders remain competitive and profitable with at least 25% margin / 35% markup subject to Management approval. Produce accurate fixed-price Post Tender Variations (PTV) within an average of 2 business days of being submitted to the estimating department (Subject to quotes). Ensure that PTVs remain competitive and profitable with at least 25% margin / 35% mark up. Support and work collaboratively with the sales team to ensure winning tender submissions are achieved for all clients . Produce Tenders and PTVs as part of the client journey ensuring accurate detail is included as a base point for the entire operation . Produce Tenders and PTVs in line with VPB and variation policy .  . General Duties. Support all staff members in building the company towards being a 5-star builder . Participate in weekly team meetings . All other duties as required for the benefit of the business but not directly related to this position description  . Required Skills and Qualifications:. REQUIRED TECHNICAL SKILLS. Advanced Microsoft Excel skills . Experience using estimating software (Buildxact, Databuild, Planswift etc). In-depth understanding of construction process, building concepts and processes . Strong numerical literacy. Provide plan, colour selection document and variation feedback if something doesn't work or look incorrect. REQUIRED PROVEN EXPERIENCE. Structural trade qualification such as bricklaying or carpentry, or 2–3 years construction supervision experience . Cert IV Building & Construction, Diploma in Building & Construction, Construction Management Degree, or qualification equivalent. Estimating experience . Work Arrangement & Expectations:.
