The Manager, Monitoring & Evaluation (Program Design, Impact and Learning) will report to the Senior Manager, Monitoring and Evaluation, and provide support in M&E methodologies at the project level. The position will support in assessing and measuring the impact and sustainability of Rise Against Hunger interventions and will lead in reporting and interpreting project data for internal and external communication purposes. Priority areas will include: monitoring, evaluation and learning, reporting at project implementation level, support in data analytics, interpretation and visualization, providing training and technical support to project M&E teams, contributing to the measurement and documentation of organization achievements, and leading in thought leadership and reporting of Rise Against Hunger programs. This position also requires travel to program sites.. Who Are You. . A Bachelor's level degree in relevant fields, including Economics, Agricultural Economics, Food Security, Monitoring and Evaluation, and/or International Development/International Relations. . . Minimum of 3-5 years related experience in Monitoring & Evaluation. . . What You Will Own and Improve. 50% Implementation and Impact - Support the management of the MEL strategy within Rise Against Hunger and across multiple partners and Global Rise Against Hunger Members involved. . Work with the Senior Monitoring & Evaluation Manager and Program Managers to review implementation activities correlated with project deliverables. . . Support the development of solid contextual monitoring and evaluation plans and results frameworks for monitoring projects and programs.. . Coordinate with partners and members to ensure the robust functioning of the initiative’s MEL framework, including aligning and refining monitoring indicators and tools, establishing a plan for monitoring project progress, analyzing data, and highlighting programmatic lessons learned.. . Support partner M&E staff in developing skills in relevant methodologies and tools to effectively monitor, track, and report on project outcomes and impact. This includes targeted support to meal distribution partners to enhance their tracking systems, measure reach and outcomes, and document impact stories for fundraising and donor reporting. . Support in planning, preparation, and management of specific program/project assessments, evaluations, and other types of studies. . Promote project accountability, evaluation standards, quality control, and capacity development in projects.. . Review performance reports (quarterly, semi-annual, and annual reports) to ensure adherence to project Logframes and scope.. . . Support annual Data Quality Assessments (DQAs).. . Provide ongoing M&E support to Pathways to End Hunger (PTEH) programs during monitoring of activities by assessing partner M&E needs and providing necessary training.. . Assist PTEH programs in the field during close-out of activities by supporting the development of sustainability plans, carrying out final surveys, assisting in final reports, organizing and receiving final M&E documentation, end-of-project learning sessions, and preparing lessons learned for future implementations.. . Support the development of project proposals when necessary. . Ensure the MEL approach aligns with Rise Against Hunger’s partnership-based model, emphasizing remote support, capacity building, and collaborative learning, given the absence of direct boots-on-the-ground implementation.. . 35% Data Management, Analytics, and Visualization - Design and implement comprehensive tools and strategies that allow raw programmatic data to be translated into impact. Raw data will be used to track project progress and measure Rise Against Hunger’s contributions to projects. Impact data will be used for Rise Against Hunger’s internal communication, donor communication and thought leadership. . Responsible for recording Rise Against Hunger’s management information and inputting management information into the appropriate database systems and ensuring clear data entry into the system.. . Aggregate, clean, and analyze data for reporting and dissemination.. . Conduct descriptive and predictive analysis as needed using analytical and business intelligence tools (i.e, Power BI and/ or Tableau). . Visualize data for presentations, storytelling, and strategic decision-making. . 15% Internal and External Thought Leadership. Support the planning and implementation of internal and external project learning series to bolster collaboration, learning, and adaptation (CLA).. . Participate in External M&E Communities of Practice and represent Rise Against Hunger at external stakeholder monitoring, evaluation, and learning (MEL) working groups.. . In coordination with the Communications team, ensure that the project M&E reporting process follows humanitarian communication principles and standards.. . Practice, monitor, and evaluate MEL policies, standards, and frameworks that align with the humanitarian principles.. . Lead in organizing both internal and external thought leadership activities that include blogs, visual infographics, and impact storytelling. . . Collaborate with project partners and members to develop thought leadership and impact storytelling pieces that highlight locally-led development . .
