React Software Engineer (Remote, Contract) at DEVWORX. We are looking for a Software Engineer to join our tech team to contribute to our fast-developing software house. The role will involve gathering user requirements, defining system functionality and writing code in React and/or .Net. Our ideal candidates are familiar with the software development life cycle (SDLC) from preliminary system analysis to tests and deployment. The Software Engineer will work closely with other software developers. Ultimately, the role of the Software Engineer is to build high-quality, innovative and fully performing software that complies with coding standards and technical design. In addition, we desire an individual who can draw from 4+ years of working experience in software development, which may include work on an academic degree.. The core role involves:. Participate in various phases of the full software development life cycle (SDLC). Develop flowcharts, layouts and documentation to identify requirements and solutions. Write well-designed, testable code in React using Typescript. Document and maintain software functionality. Troubleshoot, debug and upgrade existing systems. Deploy apps to the cloud. Comply with project plans and industry standards. Ensure software is updated with latest features. Participate in a small, experienced team on a rapid, agile development schedule. Contribute to a positive, team-oriented, and high quality work environment. Required Qualifications:. BSc or MSc degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or other related field, or outstanding working experience.. Solid understanding of software implementation best practices, object-oriented programming (OOP) and computer science foundations.. Good knowledge of React (16+, Typescript).. Good in UI/UX design.. Experience in working with Git and CI/CD.. Experience developing web and/or mobile applications.. Ability to document requirements and specifications.. Self-directed, well-organised, detail-oriented, attention to detail, dependable, and trustworthy person who works well independently, while being highly motivated.. Desire to work in a fast-paced environment.. Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.. Will count as a plus:. Some knowledge of ASP.Net Core, .Net 9, EF Core, Web API.
