As a Senior Frontend Developer, you’ll play a crucial role in transforming our codebase and helping us scale up as a company. You’ll work on creating high-quality, maintainable frontends, including the main website and back-office tools. . Your responsibilities will include:. . Implementations of new features using React and modern JavaScript technologies. . High test coverage with React Testing Library and Cypress.. . Tackling architectural challenges to improve scalability and maintainability as we scale up our products.. . Driving initiatives to improve platform efficiency, time to market, security and expertise.. . Addressing tech debt and evolving the codebase to support multiple teams collaborating effectively while ensuring high-quality, maintainable code.. . Feature Development & User Journey Optimization (30%): Lead the design and implementation of new features across the entire user journey, from discovery to checkout and payment. Collaborate closely with product and design teams to translate concepts into intuitive and performant web applications using Next.js, TypeScript, and React Query.. . Testing & Quality Assurance (20%): Drive testing initiatives from unit tests to end-to-end automation (Cypress, Playwright) to ensure robust and reliable applications.. . Design System & Accessibility (15%): Build and evolve our custom design system, ensuring consistent UI/UX and improving accessibility across all user interfaces.. . Discovery & Experimentation (5%): Participate in discovery phases and experimentation processes, leveraging data and insights to inform development decisions.. . Technical Debt & Modernization (10%): Proactively identify and address technical debt, including dependency updates and migrations from older packages to modern solutions.. . Architectural Vision & Migration Strategy (10%): Ability to analyze existing codebases, identify areas for improvement (e.g., styling solutions), propose migration strategies, and lead their execution.. . Technical Leadership & Mentoring (10%): Mentor junior and mid-level developers, contribute to knowledge sharing sessions, establish and maintain code standards, conduct code reviews and ensure code quality within the team.. . . Proven experience as a Senior Frontend Developer, specifically with Next.js, TypeScript, and React.. . In-depth understanding of state management with React Query.. . Expertise in Styled Components for efficient and scalable styling, with a strong understanding of its architecture and a keen interest in evaluating and migrating to alternative styling solutions.. . Experience with robust testing methodologies, including unit, integration, and end-to-end testing using tools like Cypress or Playwright.. . Experience with internationalization and localization for multi-language applications.. . Solid understanding of web accessibility (WCAG) standards and best practices.. . Exceptional problem-solving and analytical skills, with a proactive approach to identifying and resolving technical challenges.. .
