We are hiring reliable and technically inclined candidates for a Full-Time Fiber Optic Field Assistant role. This position supports field-based fiber optic network installations and maintenance while offering structured training, certification, and long-term career growth in the telecommunications industry.. Training Program & Timeline. Paid, structured training provided. Six (6) weeks of online instruction, followed by one (1) week of in-person field training. Certificate issued upon successful completion of the training program. Training begins February 16th. Interviews will be conducted late January through early February. Role Overview. Support fiber optic technicians with cable installation, testing, and maintenance. Assist with job site preparation, equipment setup, and cleanup. Follow fiber optic safety procedures, technical standards, and company guidelines. Perform basic testing and troubleshooting under supervision. Communicate progress, issues, and documentation to supervisors and team members. 18 years of age or older. Access to a personal computer and reliable internet for virtual training. Valid United States driver’s license. Authorization to work legally in the United States. Willingness to complete a background screening. Willingness to complete a drug test.
