As a litigation attorney, you will manage a variety of personal injury cases, including car accidents, trucking accidents, and slip and fall incidents. Your duties will include:. . Filing lawsuits. . Drafting and responding to written discovery. . Taking depositions. . Participating in mediation. . Handling all aspects of the litigation process. . Requirements:. . Minimum of 7 years of experience in discovery, depositions, mediation, and trials. . 1st chair trial experience is . mandatory (No less than 7 trials to verdict will be considered). . . MUST BE LICENSED TO PRACTICE IN NEW YORK. . Expertise in all phases of personal injury cases, from inception through litigation to trial or settlement. . Ability to work independently with minimal supervision. . Strong analytical, negotiation, organizational, and communication skills. . Experience interacting directly with clients, evaluating cases, and counseling clients on legal matters professionally.. . Comfortable working with other attorneys and litigation team members, while managing multiple priorities and meeting tight deadlines. . Additional Qualifications:. . Bilingual skills are not required but are a plus. . Proficiency in drafting motions and memoranda. . Personal injury experience is required. . Benefits:. . Health, dental, and vision insurance. .
