On the Field Officer course you will receive technical training in mine clearance, explosive ordnance disposal and minefield survey. Once deployed to a programme, in addition to operational field work you will be involved in data analysis, risk assessment, equipment auditing and maintenance, overseeing the repair of vehicles and writing reports and proposals. . Living and working in remote locations in basic conditions is not for everyone, and you can expect to be away from home for approximately 45 weeks per year.
