
Senior Field Service Engineer - Imaging (MRI/CT) at Symmetrio. Symmetrio is seeking multiple Senior Field Service Engineers on behalf of a long-standing organization known for delivering advanced diagnostic imaging solutions—including CT, MRI, X-ray, and ultrasound. This company provides sales, refurbishment, and end-to-end service for high-end imaging systems across multiple manufacturers. This is not a desk job — we're looking for a hands-on leader who can jump in and troubleshoot complex issues, and ensure outstanding technical service for hospitals and imaging centers.. The ideal candidate brings OEM-specific field service experience (preferably PET CT and or GE) and thrives in a customer-facing, high-responsibility role. . This is a full-time, onsite role with approximately 70% travel. It offers a salary in the $115,000–$130,000 range, depending on experience, along with benefits. Preferred candidates will be located in the Midwest or East coast.. Responsibilities. . Perform advanced service and maintenance on MRI (Siemens preferred), CT, X-ray, and ultrasound systems across hospital and imaging center sites. . . Lead equipment installations, ramping, calibrations, shimming, and technical site readiness. . . Troubleshoot complex system issues independently; serve as a technical escalation point for junior engineers when needed. . . Ensure proper documentation, compliance, and adherence to OEM service standards on all work performed. . . Coordinate directly with site contacts to manage scheduling, downtime, and service expectations. . . Participate in preventative maintenance programs and support performance metrics such as uptime and response time. . . Travel regularly to support regional service needs — including both fixed-site and mobile imaging environments. . . Maintain tools, test equipment, parts inventory, and vehicle according to safety and regulatory standards. . . . OEM training on Siemens MRI and/or CT systems strongly preferred; GE credentials highly valued. . . 7+ years of field service experience with diagnostic imaging systems (MRI, CT, X-ray, ultrasound). . . Proven ability to ramp, calibrate, and shim MRI systems in the field without direct supervision. . . Experience working independently in hospitals, outpatient clinics, and/or mobile unit environments. . . Strong understanding of electrical, mechanical, and network interfaces within imaging equipment. . . Excellent troubleshooting and customer service skills in high-pressure environments. . .
