The Appointment Setter serves as the frontline communicator responsible for engaging qualified leads and converting them into meaningful appointments with Business Development Managers (BDMs) and partnership teams. Working collaboratively with the Lead Generation Specialist and business leads, this role ensures a seamless transition from initial outreach to scheduled discussions that advance new client engagement and business growth.. As part of a phased engagement, the Appointment Setter will initially focus on select projects before expanding responsibilities across additional entities.. Key Responsibilities: . Conduct professional outbound outreach to qualified leads through calls, emails, and digital channels to introduce organizational initiatives and partnership opportunities.. Present key program offerings and social impact objectives clearly and persuasively to potential clients, donors, or partners.. Qualify leads based on established criteria to ensure alignment with business objectives before scheduling meetings with BDMs or partnership managers.. Manage follow-ups with interested prospects to nurture relationships and maintain engagement throughout the sales cycle.. Maintain detailed records of outreach activities, conversations, and appointment confirmations in the CRM system.. Coordinate closely with Lead Generation Specialists and business leads to optimize lead flow and conversion efficiency.. Provide weekly updates on activity levels, appointment volume, and feedback from outreach to support performance tracking and improvement.. Uphold a high standard of professionalism, clarity, and consistency in all external communications.. Required Skills and Qualifications:. Proven experience in appointment setting, outbound sales, or client engagement roles (B2B or nonprofit experience advantageous).. Excellent verbal and written communication skills with strong interpersonal rapport-building ability.. Comfort with outreach calls and engaging decision-makers across industries and organization sizes.. Proficiency in CRM software and digital communication tools..
