Ecommerce Manager (Shopify) at Activate Talent. About the client. Our client is a prestige beauty brand built around proprietary elastin-renewal technology - the first and only line clinically formulated to renew the body's own elastin production. We're a high-growth DTC brand with a passionate customer base, strong retention, and ambitious plans across every channel. We move fast, we hold ourselves to a high standard, and we're building the team that will carry us to the next level.. About the Role. We're looking for a technically sharp, highly organized Ecommerce Manager who thrives in the operational details of a fast-moving DTC brand. Product data, promo setup, retailer submissions, platform management, and backend data integrity will all be a core focus.. You'll report to the Director of E-Commerce to own the day-to-day operational execution that keeps our digital business running cleanly. You are the person who knows every corner of the Shopify backend, keeps our data accurate and well-structured, makes sure third-party accounts are set up right, and figures out new platforms without being told twice.. What You'll Own. Shopify Operations. Partner in all promotional setup and execution in Shopify - discount codes, promo mechanics, gift-with-purchase logic, bundle configurations, and campaign-specific setups. Manage backend taxonomy end-to-end: product tags, collections, metafields, categorization, and site architecture to ensure clean data and discoverability . Build and maintain product listings - descriptions, attributes, variants, pricing, and all supporting fields - with a high bar for accuracy and consistency. Coordinate image and asset preparation: file naming conventions, sizing, alt text, and upload to the right locations at the right time. Support promotional go-lives and page changes in close coordination with our dev partner (AWS); manage communications through Notion and catch issues before they reach customers. Audit and QA the backend regularly to catch data inconsistencies, broken links, or stale content and resolve proactively. Data Management & Uploads. Own the integrity of all product data across platforms - if something is wrong or missing, you find it and fix it. Manage data uploads and feed maintenance for third-party channels, ensuring all fields are correctly populated, formatted, and syndicated. Maintain rigorous file management practices - naming conventions, version control, and asset organization so the team can always find what they need. Support reporting needs by pulling and organizing data from Shopify and connected platforms; keep key trackers accurate and current. Third-Party Retailer & Wholesale Account Operations. Own all product setup and submission forms for third-party retail partners including Dermstore, Ulta, Nordstrom, E Cosmetics, Free People, and others as we expand. Manage content and imagery uploads to retailer PDP portals - ensure all listings are accurate, complete, and on-brand. Operate within Bazaarvoice, Power Reviews, and retailer-specific vendor portals on a daily basis; stay on top of review syndication and content accuracy. Coordinate asset handoffs from the creative team to retail partners - renaming, resizing, formatting to spec, and delivering on time. Support key account operations in collaboration with the accounts team: PO tracking, inventory setup, and retailer communication coordination. Support new 3P online channel launches from a setup and integration standpoint as we expand distribution. Platform & Tools Management. Become the internal expert on all platforms within your scope - Shopify, Bazaarvoice, vendor portals, and any new tools that come in. Flag renewals, inefficiencies, access issues, or optimization opportunities proactively. Document processes as you build them so the team has repeatable, scalable workflows. Support onboarding of new platforms or integrations as needed; you're comfortable being the first person to figure something out. Who You Are. You have 2-4 years of hands-on ecommerce operations experience, ideally at a DTC or omnichannel brand. You know Shopify's backend inside and out - not just the storefront, but the admin, metafields, collections logic, discount engine, and data structure. You are technically fluent without being a developer - you can navigate complex platforms, learn new tools quickly, and troubleshoot problems without escalating everything. You are a self-starter who builds your own process, tracks your own work, and doesn't need to be managed at the task level. You have strong data hygiene instincts - you notice when something is off, you care about accuracy, and you follow naming conventions without being reminded. You've worked with third-party retail portals or wholesale platforms and understand the operational requirements of managing multiple accounts simultaneously. You are organized under pressure, comfortable with a high volume of concurrent tasks, and good at prioritizing without losing details. You communicate clearly and proactively - if something is going to be late or wrong, you say so before it becomes a problem. Nice to Have. Experience with Bazaarvoice, Power Reviews, or similar review syndication platforms. Familiarity with retailer vendor portals (Mirakl, Dermstore, Ulta Beauty, Nordstrom, etc.). Experience with Shopify B2B or wholesale configurations. Exposure to feed management tools (Channable, DataFeedWatch, or similar). Comfort with Notion, Slack, and project management tools in a remote-first environment. Background in prestige beauty, wellness, or a high-SKU DTC brand. Company Location: Ecuador.
