Website: . www.wearechorus.com. Scope of Work. Chorus is looking for someone to support keeping alumni engaged with the program. The person in this role will plan, manage, and track the progress of Chorus’s creator engagement and retention in a thoughtful, value-added way, ensure that our alumni engagement is built to scale as the network increases, and keep a pulse on the creator ecosystem. They will also keep track of what alumni are up to so we can keep shouting out their wins and supporting where possible.. We are a small team with an all-hands-on-deck attitude; no task is too small and responsibilities may evolve as project needs do. That said, key responsibilities of this role include:. Alumni Engagement & Community Building. . Design and execute initiatives that foster meaningful connections among Chorus alumni, partners, current program members, and staff. Cultivate a strong sense of community through both online and in-person interactions.. Program Development & Strategy. . Develop and implement a long-term alumni engagement strategy aligned with Chorus’s goals. Continuously assess alumni needs and create programming that delivers ongoing value (e.g., workshops, events, peer groups, office hours).. Events & Programming. . Plan and manage alumni-focused events online and in-person, including reunions, networking events, and educational sessions. Ensure high-quality experiences that drive participation and satisfaction.. Communications & Content. . Own alumni communications, including updates and 1:1 conversations to solicit feedback, ideas for programming, and data that allows Chorus to highlight alumni achievements, share opportunities, and maintain consistent engagement across channels.. Partnerships & Opportunities. . Support the Partnerships team in building relationships with external organizations to expand the resources and support we can offer to alumni.. Data & Impact Tracking.. Maintain accurate alumni records and track key metrics such as engagement, growth, and program impact. Use insights to refine strategy and report on outcomes.. Platform & Tools Management. . Manage alumni platforms (e.g., communications tracker, community tools like Slack) to ensure seamless communication and resource sharing.. Increased collaboration between alumni and the broader ecosystem. The Ideal Candidate. Strong Interpersonal Skills:. able to quickly build and maintain meaningful relationships with creators and handle difficult situations responsibly.. Meticulous Attention to Detail: . can successfully manage multiple threads at once while remaining organized and ensuring that all external materials match Chorus’s standards of excellence.. Comfortable in Fast-Paced Environments: . can adapt quickly in a fast-changing environment and is comfortable managing multiple moving pieces at once.. Open-Minded:. able to work well with people from a variety of backgrounds and perspectives.. Experience in Digital Space. : Familiar with major trends and leading organizations in pro-democracy digital media. Experience as a content creator and/or working directly with creators is preferred.. Compensation. Contract role with compensation ranging from $8,000 to $10,000 per month, depending on experience. . Location. Chorus is a fully remote team. All team members must be located within the continental United States and must be reachable between the hours of 10am ET and 6pm ET, regardless of where they live and work..
