Simulation Engineer. to lead multi-physics modeling and synthetic data generation for our AI-powered structural condition monitoring projects, including currently EU-funded research.. . What You'll Do. . . Develop thermal-mechanical FEA simulations for defect modeling and AI training datasets . . Lead technical work packages in EU-funded research projects. . Manage project deliverables, timelines, and stakeholder communication . . Collaborate with AI/ML engineers to integrate physics-based modeling with deep learning . . Contribute to proposals, publications, and technology commercialization. . What We Need. . . . Experience. : 3-5 years with finite element analysis (COMSOL, ANSYS, Abaqus, or MATLAB) . . . Programming. : Python/MATLAB for simulation automation . . . Multi-physics. : Thermal-mechanical coupling, parametric modeling . . . Communication. : Strong technical writing and project management skills . . . EU projects experience. : Advantage but not required. . . Bonus Points. . . PhD in computational mechanics or structural engineering . . Background in optical simulation, interferometry, or NDT methods . . Experience with synthetic data generation for machine learning . .
