As an integral member of our litigation team, you will gain immediate hands-on experience handling a variety of litigation matters involving wrongful death, contract and business disputes, premises liability, personal injury claims, and more. From inception to resolution, you will have the opportunity to handle every aspect of your cases including legal strategy, research, drafting pleadings and motions, managing discovery, arguing motions in court, attending mediations, and trial. You will have the chance to work with a diverse range of clients, including individuals, businesses, and organizations. This role offers an excellent platform for professional growth, as you will collaborate closely with experienced partners and team members.. 4+ years of civil litigation experience handling matters involving general liability, construction, and/or personal/catastrophic injury, preferably in a law firm environment.. Current membership in the California State Bar is required.. Ability to handle cases independently from start to finish, including developing and implementing strategy, managing discovery, taking and defending depositions, coordinating with experts, law and motion practice, interfacing with clients and opposing counsel, trial preparation, and attending mediations (trial experience is a plus!). Exceptional communication and advocacy skills along with a client-focused mindset and a passion for achieving successful outcomes.. Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.. ***NOTE*** This position is fully REMOTE however the attorney must reside within one hour from Sacramento. . Company Location: United States.
