Senior AI Product Engineer / AI Workflow Architect at Avomind. Our Client is scaling AI across core operations -- from document processing and knowledge systems to decision support and automation. They are looking for a Senior AI Engineer who combines strong Python skills, LLM system design expertise, and a deep sense of responsibility for output quality.. You will play a key role in shaping the AI systems that support life-saving projects globally and build AI systems people rely on every day.. Your role & responsibilities. Design and implement end-to-end AI workflows integrated into real business processes . Build and maintain Python-based AI systems (LLMs, embeddings, retrieval, orchestration) . Work with large, heterogeneous datasets (ERP data, emails, documents, APIs, files) . Design and manage vectorization pipelines and retrieval strategies . Trace, monitor, and debug LLM calls, prompts, outputs, and failures . Define and enforce quality, reliability, and evaluation standards for AI outputs . Collaborate closely with product, business, and tech stakeholders . Decide when AI is the right tool -- and when it is not . Document architectures, trade-offs, and decisions clearly and pragmatically. Strong hands-on experience with Python in production environments . Experience building systems with LLMs (OpenAI, Azure OpenAI, open-source models, etc.) . Solid understanding of embeddings, vector databases, and retrieval patterns . Experience with prompting, evaluation, tracing, and output quality control . Ability to design AI systems that are robust, explainable, and maintainable . Comfort working with ERP data and Microsoft systems . Product mindset: you care about outcomes, not just models . High sense of ownership and responsibility for system behavior . Clear and structured communication; able to explain technical trade-offs to non-technical stakeholders . Persistence, curiosity, and motivation to learn .
