Experienced FinOps Engineer - AWS at Mindera. We are building a world class team and would love you to join us!. As an experienced FinOps Engineer, you’ll play a key role in analyzing and optimizing our AWS cloud spend. You’ll help be dedicated to monitor and audit cloud costs, given your expertise in observability tools such as DataDog and Vantage, alongside with your fine-grained approach to cost analysis, creating Dashboards to provide cost visibility and transparency to cloud usage across multiple services in a multi-tenant ecosystem. You'll use scripting languages like Python or GO to collect and fine grain cloud cost information allowing to create an accurate representation of cloud costs based on tenant usage.. You’ll collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to drive cost efficiency—while continuing to learn, grow, and have fun building meaningful solutions.. National and international expected traveling time varies according to project/client and organizational needs: 0%-15% estimated.. Expertise we are looking for:. . Proven experience in cloud cost monitoring, analysis, or . FinOps . roles. . . Strong understanding of . AWS. cloud platform and their pricing models. . . Understanding of Cloud Services such as . SaaS, PaaS, IaaS.. . . Proficiency in monitoring and reporting tools preferably using . DataDog and/or Vantage,. for tracking consumption and spending.. . Experience in automation and scripting using . Python. and/or . Go.. . . Solid Experience with Cloud tools such as . Kubernetes and terraform.. . . Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. . . Ability to communicate technical information clearly to non-technical stakeholders. . . Passion for continuous learning and sharing knowledge.. . Nice to have:. . Experience with cost management tools like . AWS Cost Explorer. or third-party tools (e.g., CloudHealth, Apptio, CAST AI). . . .
