As a Network Engineer, you will design, implement, and maintain enterprise-level network infrastructure to support secure, scalable, and high-performance operations. You will work across multiple technologies, including data center networks, firewalls, VPNs, load balancers, and LAN/WAN/WLAN environments. The role involves troubleshooting complex network issues, ensuring system reliability, and optimizing network performance. You will collaborate with engineering, operations, and technical teams to deliver robust network solutions while mentoring junior team members. Accountabilities. · Configure, install, and maintain enterprise network devices and services including routers, switches, firewalls, load balancers, VPNs, and QoS systems.. · Perform day-to-day operational support, network maintenance, system upgrades, patches, and security configurations.. · Troubleshoot and resolve network performance, connectivity, and configuration issues.. · Design, implement, and optimize monitoring and management systems to ensure network availability, reliability, and scalability.. · Collaborate with engineering and operations teams on infrastructure projects, upgrades, and new deployments.. · Provide 24x7 on-call support on a rotating basis, including after-hours and weekend coverage.. · Mentor and guide junior network operations staff and contribute to team knowledge sharing.. . · 7+ years of experience with data center networks, enterprise-class switches, routers, firewalls, VPNs, and load balancers.. · Professional network certifications such as CCNP or equivalent preferred.. · Strong understanding of TCP/IP, UDP, DNS, ARP, ICMP, IPSEC, HSRP, BGP, OSPF, ISIS, 802.11, QoS, SSL/TLS, SSH, and related networking protocols.. · Experience with enterprise Ethernet switching (spine-leaf), service provider networking technologies (L3VPN, L2VPN, EVPN), and IP addressing (CIDR/IPv4/IPv6).. · Proficient in network monitoring, troubleshooting, and packet analysis tools such as SolarWinds and Wireshark.. · Experience designing and implementing large, multi-protocol enterprise networks.. · Strong interpersonal, communication, and customer service skills.. · Associates or Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field preferred.. · Strong organizational, analytical, problem-solving, and time management skills.. .
