We are seeking a . motivated and detail-oriented Finance & Accounting Associate. to join our growing team. In this role, you’ll work alongside experienced professionals, supporting the daily financial operations of U.S.-based clients in the cannabis industry. You’ll manage recurring deliverables independently, demonstrate ownership, and suggest small improvements to existing processes.. Key Responsibilities. Support daily accounting operations, including reconciliations, invoicing, cash/payment applications, and journal entries. Calculating, approving, and distributing salaries, bonuses, and commissions. Verifying hours worked, attendance, and overtime, including managing paid time off (holiday, sick, maternity leave). Maintaining accurate, confidential employee records (bank info, tax status, salary changes). Maintain low error rates and ensure minimal need for supervisor corrections. Build client trust through reliable support and contribute ideas to improve workflows. Collaborate with team leads and peers in meetings, check-ins, and shared projects. Develop technical expertise in accounting fundamentals, AP/AR processes, Excel, and ERP systems. . Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting (or currently in the final semester). Experience: 1–2 years of relevant work experience (internships or entry-level positions count). . Tools: Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (intermediate level required); Exposure to ERP systems is a plus. Skills: . . Strong attention to detail and accuracy. . Ability to meet deadlines and work efficiently under supervision. . Eagerness to learn and apply new concepts quickly. . Minimum B2 level of English. . . Company Location: Serbia.
