Technical Application Analyst( Hydrogrid) at Sword Group. We are looking for an applications engineer with experience of supporting energy sector or similar application portfolios. Experience of supporting a diverse portfolio of applications, primarily Hydrogrid or similar. . Location Scotland. . . Previous extensive experience as an applications analyst regularly troubleshooting and ensuring smooth running of the system. . Experience of supporting energy sector or similar application portfolios, with a knowledge of SQL and necessary database interfaces. . Experience working and liasing closely with vendors and has the ability to keep them on track. . Analytical skills. . Application interoperability, integrations, data flows, functionality overlap. . Real-time data/Hydrogrid/understanding. . Database knowledge. . Automation/Scripting skills – python (desirable). . Reporting and presenting skills. . Understating on allocation, system configuration and performance, production/lost production figures. . Familiar with agile and devops. . Fast learner and delivery focused. .
