From bookkeeping and financial reporting to payroll and employee onboarding, this role is critical to keeping the company’s financial operations precise, proactive, and ready for scale.. As a Finance Operations Specialist, your success will be measured by your ability to ensure financial accuracy, streamline operational processes, and support leadership with timely and actionable financial insights. . Here’s how you’ll make an impact:. Finance Operations & Bookkeeping. . Manage day-to-day accounts payable, including vendor invoicing, approvals, and payments.. . Oversee in-house bookkeeping in QuickBooks (transitioning from outsourced bookkeeping).. . Track expenses across platforms such as Ramp and Mercury.. . Reconcile accounts and maintain accurate ledgers.. . . Reporting & Compliance. . Prepare monthly and quarterly budget-to-actual reports for the leadership team.. . Support quarterly financial compilation and year-end tax preparation alongside CPA.. . Ensure compliance with internal financial controls and reporting standards.. . Payroll & Employee Administration. . Process bi-weekly payroll and handle new hire onboarding documentation.. . Manage benefits-related financial documentation, including 401(k) contributions.. . Centralize and maintain employment-related finance paperwork.. . Financial Analysis. . Update and maintain quarterly financial models.. . Provide variance analysis and data-driven insights to support strategic decisions.. . Colleagues.
