In this role, you'll manage key customer accounts, identify new business opportunities, and contribute to efficient raw material sourcing. Your role will be crucial in balancing commercial growth with supply chain resilience while maintaining strong relationships with customers and suppliers.. The position offers a balance of responsibilities with approximately 80% focused on sales activities and 20% on sourcing.. Your Main Responsibilities. . Manage key B2B customer relationships, including food manufacturers and beverage producers in the DACH region. . Handle negotiations, pricing, and contract agreements to drive profitability. . Work closely with R&D and technical teams to support customers in product development and innovation projects. . Stay on top of market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs. . Contribute to relationships with growers, processors, and suppliers. . Ensure quality, cost efficiency, and sustainability in the sales process. . Monitor commodity pricing and market trends to optimize sales strategies. . Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and customer meetings. . Ensure cross-functional alignment between sales, supply chain, quality, and operations. . What We're Looking For. . Bachelor's or Master's degree in Food Science, Business, or a related field. . 8+ years of experience in sales in the food and beverage ingredients industry. . Proven track record in B2B sales with direct end-customer relationships. . Strong understanding of fruit and vegetable ingredients (such as concentrates, purees, dried or frozen products) and their particular seasonality. . Experience specifically with beverage applications is highly desirable. . Excellent negotiation, communication, and presentation skills. . A proactive, independent, and results-driven mindset. .
