The clinical abstractor at Fourier Health is a licensed healthcare provider whose aim is to help review, annotate and label medical notes for our human-in-the-loop AI summarization platform. . Please note that this is a remote, 1099 role. Potential for Part-Time or Full-Time hours. The role requires availability to work during the business hours of 8am-6pm ET, M-F, with some opportunities for evenings and weekends. This position pays $40/hr. Note this is a rolling position however immediate roles available.. As a clinical abstractor at Fourier, you can expect to:. Review large volumes of medical documentation, abstract key clinical data and label it appropriately based on provided clinical guidelines. A licensed Registered Nurse with an unencumbered license in their state of residence. Someone with the ability to dedicate a minimum 10 hours and up to 40 hours per week to the role. Schedule flexible and open to discussion.. Able to return an assigned case within a designated timeframe. Comfortable interpreting clinical notes across different specialties. . A quick learner who is excited about using new technology in innovative ways to improve clinical workflows. Detail-oriented, curious and proactive about solving challenges within the healthcare system. Technically savvy, quick to dive in to learning new systems and software. Able to communicate with IT teams and share feedback and ideas for improvement. . Able to work independently - this position requires use of a laptop or desktop computer. Need to Have: . Active, unencumbered RN license. Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university . Experience reviewing clinical documentation. Nice to Have: . Experience working with a digital health start up or similar fast-paced environment. Experience working as a nurse in Fertility/REI, Pediatrics, VA records, or Primary Care a plus!. Basic understanding of AI and data processing workflows. Experience in clinical data abstraction. Knowledge of ICD-10, CPT, HCC coding. Ability to work during the business hours of 8AM-6PM ET, M-F and meet immediate turnaround time needs.
