You will support a high-impact Tableau to Power BI migration project, enabling a seamless transition into the Microsoft ecosystem. This role also involves collaborating with internal BI teams to adopt Power BI best practices, ensuring scalable and efficient reporting solutions using Microsoft Fabric.. Our client operates in the health and wellness technology space and is undergoing a strategic migration of their business intelligence infrastructure. This role is essential in converting executive and sales reports from Tableau to Power BI and supporting the development of modern, self-service reporting environments.. This project focuses on delivering clean, scalable Power BI reports and potentially supporting data pipeline development using Azure tools and Microsoft Fabric.. This is a 3 month contract with the possibility to be extended.. Location:. Must reside and have work authorization in Latin America.. Availability:. Must be available to work with significant overlap with Mountain Standard Time (MST). . The Ideal Candidate Has:. 5+ years of experience in BI development with proven work migrating Tableau reports to Power BI. . Strong proficiency in Power BI, including data modeling, DAX, and dashboard/report design. . Hands-on experience working with Azure Data Factory, Databricks, or Microsoft Fabric for data pipelines and integration. . Excellent communication skills in English (C1 preferred, strong B2 may be considered). . Collaborative mindset with the ability to work side-by-side with client BI teams. . Experience providing support, consulting, or mentoring in Power BI best practices and governance. . Familiarity with Microsoft Fabric architecture is a strong plus. . Key Responsibilities:. Migrate existing Tableau reports (12–15) into Power BI while preserving functionality and performance. . Build effective and visually compelling Power BI dashboards and data models. . Support the internal BI team by answering questions, sharing knowledge, and improving their understanding of Power BI. . Ensure clean and efficient data ingestion through pipelines or repositories using Microsoft Fabric or related Azure tools. . Recommend and implement Power BI best practices around governance, data modeling, and usability. . Provide feedback and ideas to improve the client’s BI strategy and architecture. .
