You will work on core components such as embeddings, vector search, and tool/function calling, while enhancing evaluation frameworks and monitoring performance metrics. The position allows early-career engineers to develop professionally within a regulated environment, learning from senior engineers while delivering high-impact AI solutions. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, implement best practices for security and compliance, and apply Responsible AI principles to ensure safe and reliable AI systems. This role provides exposure to cloud architectures, data pipelines, and real-world deployment of AI applications.. . Accountabilities. Design, implement, and maintain production-grade AI/ML systems, including RAG, embeddings, vector search, and tool/function calling.. Contribute to prototype development and transform experimental features into robust, scalable solutions.. Enhance model evaluation frameworks with offline/online assessments, Human-in-the-Loop (HIL) processes, and golden set evaluations.. Monitor key metrics such as quality, latency, cost, and safety, using data-informed insights to optimize system performance.. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product, design, and platform teams, to integrate AI solutions effectively.. Ensure compliance with privacy, security, and Responsible AI standards in all system development.. Participate in agile workflows, code reviews, and documentation to uphold engineering quality and best practices.. . Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.. Proficiency in Python, REST APIs, SQL, Git, Docker, and CI/CD workflows.. Familiarity with Large Language Models (LLMs), prompting techniques, embeddings, RAG, and ML frameworks such as PyTorch or TensorFlow.. Experience with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, or GCP) and data lake/warehouse architectures.. Knowledge of event-driven systems like Spark and Kafka.. Hands-on experience building services, ML features, or Generative AI applications.. Understanding of Responsible AI principles, safety, and guardrail systems.. Strong coding practices, iterative development mindset, and excellent communication skills.. Experience with AI frameworks, prompt management, evaluation tooling, and data management tools such as Databricks or Delta Lake is a plus..
