Technical Lead (Python/Typescript) at Devsu. Our client, a fast-moving startup revolutionizing commercial real estate through AI, is currently looking for a Technical Lead who thrives in high-impact environments and enjoys both writing production-grade code and setting technical direction. You’ll be joining a small, distributed team of five engineers and will play a key role in shaping the backend and frontend architecture of our AI-driven platform.. This is a hands-on individual contributor (IC) role with leadership responsibilities—you’ll break down complex problems, guide implementation, and ensure high-quality execution while staying deep in the codebase.. Responsibilities:. . Lead the design and development of scalable features across our Python backend and TypeScript frontend.. . Translate product requirements into clear, actionable technical plans.. . Collaborate closely with cross-functional stakeholders and distributed team members.. . Ensure code quality through best practices, mentorship, and robust review processes.. . Drive architectural decisions and help define our technical roadmap.. . Proactively identify technical risks and work with the team to resolve them.. . Participate in sprint planning, backlog grooming, and team rituals with an emphasis on remote-first collaboration.. . . 7+ years of professional software development experience, including full-stack or backend-heavy roles.. . Proven ability to lead projects and influence architectural decisions in fast-paced environments.. . Strong experience with Python and TypeScript.. . Experience building and scaling cloud-native applications (AWS, GCP, or similar).. . Exceptional communication and collaboration skills; experience working across time zones.. .
