As a core member of our team, you'll be the catalyst for creating a seamless and engaging journey for every MTC employee. You'll move beyond traditional People tasks to become a trusted partner who empowers our teams to do their best work.. On any given day, you will:. Drive Talent Acquisition: Support our full-cycle recruitment process, from sourcing and interviewing to onboarding, helping us attract skilled and diverse professionals. Cultivate Our Unique Culture: Act as a guardian of our values. You'll help develop and roll out HR policies, facilitate engaging onboarding experiences, and contribute to learning programs that help our team grow.. Drive People-First Initiatives: Organize employer branding events, coordinate employee feedback surveys, and facilitate performance review cycles, always with a mindset of continuous improvement (kaizen).. Build a Foundation for Excellence: Ensure smooth People processes, including onboarding/offboarding, record-keeping, payroll, and benefits administration,  to ensure our team feels supported and valued.. What Sets You Up for Success: Who You Are. To thrive in this role, you are a culturally-fluent People professional who is excited by the challenge of building and scaling a global team. You are:. An Experienced People Generalist: You have 3-5 years of hands-on experience in an P&C Generalist role, with a solid understanding of core People programs like performance management, recruitment, and L&D.. A Natural Connector: With full professional fluency in both English and Japanese, you seamlessly bridge communication between global colleagues and local stakeholders.. A Knowledgeable Partner: You are well-versed in Japanese labor law and compliance, ensuring we operate with integrity and fairness.. Tech-Savvy: You're comfortable navigating HRIS and ATS tools and can use data to extract insights that drive meaningful action; you know how to use modern business tools (like Microsoft 365 or Google Workspace) and are curious about how AI and automation can make work more efficient.. Driven by Ownership: You have a proactive, detail-oriented approach and are constantly looking for ways to improve processes and make a tangible impact.. Experience recruiting for technical or IT roles and a Bachelor's degree in HR, Business Administration or a related field are a plus!. Company Location: Japan.
