Phone Call Management & Virtual Receptionist Support. Answer inbound and outbound calls using the Comcast Business VOIP phone system. Triage calls, route appropriately, and handle patient inquiries professionally and empathetically. Ensure consistent phone coverage and that no calls are missed during scheduled work hours. 2. Medical Scribing & Quality Control Review. Perform live medical scribing during patient encounters. Document and manage clinical records in Office Ally EHR. Review medical notes prior to finalization to identify errors or quality issues. Coordinate with clinicians to ensure documentation corrections are completed accurately. 3. Administrative Support & Consistency (Staffing Gap Coverage). Manage patient intakes, appointment scheduling, reminders, and follow-ups in Office Ally. Maintain accurate patient records and support administrative workflows within the EHR. Provide reliable coverage for client-facing administrative tasks, including paperwork and documentation. Demonstrate consistent attendance, reliability, and follow-through to ensure uninterrupted daily operations. 4. Billing & Insurance Administrative Support. Support insurance verification processes. Manage prior authorizations and required documentation. Collect and review copays and EOBs. 5. Apply HIPAA regulations in daily patient communication, documentation, and EHR workflows. Experience & Skills. At least 1 year of experience as a Medical Virtual Assistant handling front desk or virtual receptionist tasks (inbound/outbound calls), appointment scheduling and patient coordination, and insurance verification and billing-related tasks.. Medical live scribing experience . Experience working with mental or behavioral health patients is preferred. Proficiency with Office Ally EHR is preferred. Familiarity with Comcast Business VOIP systems is a plus. Strong phone etiquette and patient communication skills. High attention to detail and documentation accuracy.
