Content Editor at Weekday AI. This role is for one of the Weekday's clients. Min Experience: 3 years. Location: Remote (India), Pune. JobType: full-time. We are seeking a sharp, detail-oriented Content Editor who excels at the crossroads of exceptional writing and search intelligence. You will be responsible for overseeing the editorial quality of our content pipeline—carefully reviewing, refining, and enhancing blog posts and SEO/AEO content to ensure they rank well, engage readers, and are cited by AI platforms. You will collaborate closely with content writers, SEO strategists, and the product team to guarantee that every piece aligns with Erlin’s standards for accuracy, structure, and search performance.. What you’ll do. Edit and proofread blog posts, long-form articles, and SEO/AEO content to ensure clarity, accuracy, tone, and consistent style. Optimize all content for search engines and AI answer engines by applying AEO/GEO best practices, including structured answers, entity coverage, and topical authority signals. Maintain a consistent editorial voice and adhere to the brand style guide across all written materials. Work with writers to provide clear, constructive feedback aimed at continuously improving content quality. Review content briefs and outlines before writing begins to ensure they meet SEO targets, search intent, and client objectives. Monitor content performance metrics such as rankings, traffic, and AI citations, identifying opportunities for updates or further optimization. Stay informed about the latest developments in AI search, SGE, and AEO to keep our editorial standards ahead of industry trends. What we’re looking for. 2–4 years of experience in content editing, editorial management, or content marketing roles. Strong understanding of SEO fundamentals, including keyword strategy, on-page optimization, internal linking, and search intent mapping. Knowledge of AEO/GEO principles, including writing for AI-generated answers, featured snippets, and large language model (LLM) citation potential. Excellent command of written English, with strengths in grammar, structure, flow, and readability. Ability to manage multiple content projects simultaneously within a fast-paced editorial environment. Preferred qualifications:. Experience using AI writing tools and the ability to identify and enhance AI-assisted content. Background in digital marketing agencies, SaaS companies, or tech startups. Familiarity with content optimization platforms such as Surfer SEO, Semrush, or Clearscope. Understanding of how LLMs like ChatGPT, Perplexity, and Google SGE retrieve and cite content. Skills.
