Database Administrator 1 . to ensure the accuracy, integrity, and consistency of data within the MyInsight Electronic Health Record (EHR) system. This role requires advanced SQL knowledge, strong analytical skills, and a solid understanding of clinical workflows to identify, correct, and prevent data issues that impact reporting, compliance, and billing.. Key Responsibilities. Front Desk Data Validation & Correction. . Use SQL queries and MyInsight reporting tools to detect and fix front desk data entry errors. . . Conduct regular audits to address issues such as: . . . Outdated or incorrect benefit assignments. . . Incorrect insurance relationship settings (e.g., ensuring “Self” is properly applied). . . Patients missing checkout status and apply corrective actions. . . . Clinical Data Integrity. . Review service records for completeness, accuracy, and billing compliance. . . Document current data entry processes and contribute to the creation of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs). . . Identify and correct issues such as: . . . Missing office and lab visits in required programs. . . Billable services without proper Evaluation & Management (E/M) or visit codes. . . Diagnoses missing corresponding E/M codes. . . Missing vaccination administration fees for Medicaid, Medicare, or private insurance patients. . . Services entered from incorrect workflows (e.g., Front Desk instead of Home View). . . Services logged under the wrong events. . . . Duplicate Record Management. . Detect, merge, and resolve duplicate patient records. . . Ensure consistency across EHR data to improve reporting accuracy and billing efficiency. . . Required Skills & Experience. . Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Health Information Technology, Computer Science, Healthcare Administration, or related field. . . At least 2 years of experience working with EHR systems (preferably MyInsight by Netsmart). . . Strong SQL skills for querying and report generation. . . Proven experience with data auditing, cleanup, and workflow corrections in healthcare settings. . . Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving skills. . . Preferred Skills & Experience. . Experience in a clinical or public health environment. . . Knowledge of healthcare billing and insurance requirements (Medicaid, Medicare, Private). . .
