Interim People & Culture Generalist, US at hosting.com. Role Overview. We are looking to hire an immediately available interim People & Culture Generalist as a matter of urgency to support the US team through a period of transition and change. This is a stand-alone role requiring a seasoned interim professional who can quickly pick up the reins and operate with confidence and autonomy. The focus will be on managing payroll, benefits administration, and day-to-day HR support, ensuring business continuity and compliance while maintaining a positive employee experience. The ideal candidate will be hands-on, detail-oriented, and experienced in navigating fast-paced environments with minimal oversight.. Key Responsibilities.  . People Operations & Employee Experience. Act as the first point of contact for all US employee inquiries, providing accurate and timely HR support.. Manage end-to-end employee lifecycle activities, including onboarding, offboarding, and changes to employment status.. Maintain accurate employee data and documentation across HR systems and files, ensuring compliance with US employment laws.. Support benefits administration and annual renewals in partnership with our external providers.. Coordinate employee relations matters, ensuring issues are handled confidentially, fairly, and in line with policy.. Payroll & Compliance. Own and process the bi-monthly payroll via Paylocity, ensuring accuracy and timely submission in collaboration with Finance and our external payroll provider.. Maintain accurate payroll and benefits data, including new hires, terminations, and compensation changes.. Ensure compliance with all applicable federal and state employment laws, including tax filings, wage and hour laws, and reporting requirements.. Partner with Finance on payroll reconciliations and audits as needed.. Own the HRIS process for the US team – contractors and permanent via Deel. Skills and Knowledge. ·       3–5 years of experience in a People / HR Generalist or People Operations role, ideally within a multi-state, scaling business.. ·       Demonstrated experience managing or coordinating US payroll and benefits administration, via paylocity highly advantageous. . ·       Strong knowledge of US employment law and compliance (multi-state experience preferred).. ·       Excellent attention to detail and accuracy, particularly with data and payroll.. ·       Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build trust across all levels.. ·       Comfortable working autonomously and handling sensitive information with discretion.. ·       Proficiency with HRIS and payroll systems (e.g., Deel, Paylocity or similar)..
