This role offers an opportunity to work at the intersection of advanced technical support and engineering. As a Support Engineer, you will tackle complex database and infrastructure issues, delving into SQL query optimization, Linux system configurations, Kubernetes workloads, and distributed systems. You will collaborate with multiple teams, including development, product, and infrastructure, to resolve critical customer issues while continuously improving support processes. Your work will have a direct impact on ensuring enterprise customer success and driving operational excellence.. . Accountabilities. As a Support Engineer, you will:. . Provide technical support via email and live channels to enterprise customers, addressing complex issues, bug diagnosis, and outage resolution.. . Investigate, reproduce, and report product issues while submitting formal bug reports or feature requests to engineering teams.. . Collaborate with cross-functional teams—including developers, sales engineers, and technical account managers—to ensure coordinated issue resolution.. . Improve support processes, create run-books, and author internal or public documentation to enhance team efficiency.. . Participate in on-call rotations, including weekends and holidays, to provide reliable support coverage.. . Ensure every customer interaction delivers a positive support experience.. . . The ideal candidate will have:. . 4+ years of experience in customer-facing technical support, ideally at an advanced level.. . Strong proficiency in SQL databases, query optimization, and performance analysis.. . Solid DevOps or sysadmin skills, including hands-on Linux experience and navigating large log files, system I/O, and network troubleshooting.. . Expertise in Kubernetes, including deployment, management, troubleshooting, Helm usage, and scaling production workloads.. . Experience with at least one scripting or coding language (Python, Bash, Go) for problem-solving and automation.. . Familiarity with distributed systems and cloud platforms (AWS/GCP) and understanding of performance bottlenecks and high-availability design.. . Strong written and verbal communication skills in English, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to diverse audiences.. . Experience improving support processes, ticket triage, escalation workflows, and reporting metrics.. . Bonus:. .
