The Insurance Operations Associate will support the elevation, selection, acceptance, rejection, pricing, and servicing of workers' compensation insurance policies within accepted company procedures and guidelines. . The Insurance Operations Associate role will be responsible for the following:. Review workers’ compensation insurance applications and documentation . Data transfering efficiently and accurately. Preparing written communication on adverse underwriting decisions, proposals, referrals, rate appeals, underwriting requirements, status and declinations.. Basic understanding of workers' compensation.. Assisting with binding of policies, processing of endorsements, renewal, and new business underwriting.. Preparing written communication on adverse underwriting decisions, proposals, referrals, rate appeals, underwriting requirements, status and declinations.. Basic understanding of workers' compensation.. Assisting with binding of policies, processing of endorsements, renewal, and new business underwriting.. . RESPONSIBILITIES. Review workers’ compensation insurance applications and documentation for accuracey and completion. Efficient and accurate transfer of data into carrier portals and Hourly admin system. Preparation of written communication on underwriting appetite and requirements, proposals, referrals, endorsements and declinations.. Assist with the tracking and communication of submissions and renewals via internal spreadsheets and documentation. Assist with binding of policies, processing of endorsements, along with entry and preparation of new and renewal submissions. Meet with Underwriting team on a regular basis to communicate coverage needs and further understand book of business. WHAT WILL MAKE YOU SUCCEED.
