Key Responsibilities: . Link Building Strategy & Planning. Develop and own the off-page SEO strategy for each assigned client account, aligned with their broader SEO and business goals. Identify, vet, and build genuine relationships with publishers, editors, journalists, bloggers, and website owners relevant to healthcare and wellness niches. Develop and maintain an active outreach pipeline using personalised, value-led communication strategies. Pitch and place guest articles, expert commentary, resource links, and digital PR placements with relevant publications. Negotiate link placements and editorial opportunities that meet quality thresholds and client compliance requirements. Maintain long-term publisher relationships that generate repeat link acquisition opportunities over time. Linkable Content Development. Identify and brief linkable content concepts — including data-driven articles, expert guides, infographics, and tools — that are likely to earn organic links from target publications. Collaborate with the Content Strategy team to develop assets purpose-built for link acquisition. Stay current on trending topics, healthcare news, and industry conversations that can be leveraged for reactive link building and digital PR. Evaluate content performance as a link acquisition asset and iterate based on results. Citation Building & Local SEO. Audit, build, and maintain business citations across key directories and platforms for local SEO clients. Ensure NAP (Name, Address, Phone) consistency across all citation sources and identify and correct inaccuracies. Manage structured and unstructured citation opportunities across national and niche-specific healthcare directories. Monitor and maintain citation health on an ongoing basis, including removal or suppression of duplicate listings. Stay current on Google Business Profile best practices and how citations contribute to local pack rankings. Reporting & Record Keeping. Maintain meticulous records of all outreach activity, publisher contacts, link placements, and citation listings using agreed systems and naming conventions. Track and report on monthly link acquisition, domain authority improvements, and citation coverage for each client. Provide clear, accurate weekly updates to the SEO Manager on pipeline progress, placements secured, and any blockers. Document processes and maintain SOPs for all off-page activities to ensure consistency and scalability. Minimum 3 years of hands-on link building and off-page SEO experience. Experience with citation building and local SEO, including NAP management and directory management. Agency experience strongly preferred.
