We are seeking a strategic, hands-on product designer to lead usability and design excellence within a fast-paced SaaS environment. In this role, you will partner closely with product management and engineering to drive product discovery, define user-centered solutions, and shape outcomes across multiple surfaces. You will take ownership of large, complex features, ensuring clarity, cohesion, and usability from early access through general availability. This role offers the opportunity to mentor peers, contribute to design system development, and influence broader design practices while delivering high-impact user experiences. You will play a key part in shaping both product direction and the broader design culture, balancing craft, strategy, and collaboration.. Accountabilities. . Lead usability and design quality across assigned product areas, ensuring solutions are intuitive, trustworthy, and customer-focused.. . Partner with Product Management and Engineering to guide product discovery, scope decisions, and roadmap priorities within empowered teams.. . Own complex design initiatives end-to-end, from framing problems and surfacing assumptions to delivering polished, multi-state prototypes and flows.. . Mentor mid-level designers, share product thinking, provide feedback, and actively contribute to team rituals and process improvements.. . Apply user insights, research data, and evidence-led iteration to anticipate edge cases and usability risks throughout the product lifecycle.. . Contribute to design system evolution, creating reusable patterns and scalable design solutions that empower team-wide efficiency.. . Facilitate alignment across disciplines, clearly communicating design rationale and advocating for usability and quality throughout development.. . . 8–10 years of product design experience, including end-to-end ownership in modern SaaS environments.. . Proven experience driving design outcomes in empowered product teams (tripods/trios).. . Strong portfolio demonstrating leadership, complex multi-state flows, and systems-level design thinking.. . High proficiency in Figma and solid understanding of responsive design and design systems.. . Fluency in user-centered design principles, usability heuristics, and rapid prototyping methods.. . Excellent storytelling, communication, and collaboration skills; able to influence and align cross-functional teams.. . Self-directed, proactive, resilient, and accountable with strong prioritization and problem-solving skills.. .
