In this role, you will act as a key technical leader responsible for maintaining the stability, security, and performance of critical infrastructure across on-premises and cloud environments. You will bring deep expertise in Nutanix hyper-converged systems, datacenter operations, VM lifecycle management, and AWS cloud services. This position requires a mix of strategic thinking and hands-on execution, balancing daily system administration with the delivery of high-impact infrastructure projects. You’ll collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, optimize resources, and ensure business continuity through robust backup and disaster recovery solutions. Serve as the subject matter expert for Nutanix AHV, Prism Central, and related technologies, including upgrades, patching, and performance tuning.. . Oversee datacenter operations, from hardware installations to compliance with physical and logical security protocols.. . Manage virtualized environments, including provisioning, configuration, monitoring, and disaster recovery for virtual machines.. . Administer AWS services such as EC2, S3, VPC, and IAM, while supporting cloud workload migrations and enforcing security best practices.. . Troubleshoot complex infrastructure issues, develop automation scripts to improve efficiency, and participate in on-call rotations.. . Create and maintain documentation (system configs, SOPs, runbooks) while collaborating with internal teams to support business initiatives.. . . Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field, or equivalent professional experience.. . 7+ years in systems administration, with at least 4 years in a senior or leadership role.. . Strong hands-on expertise with Nutanix AHV and Prism Central; NCP certification preferred.. . Deep knowledge of datacenter operations, virtualization technologies, and networking fundamentals (DNS, DHCP, TCP/IP, VLANs).. . Proven experience administering AWS services and cloud environments.. . Proficiency in scripting/automation with PowerShell, Python, or Bash.. . Strong problem-solving, communication, and documentation skills.. .
