Sourcing Intern (Open to Fresh Graduates) at More Staffing LLC. About the Role. The Sourcing Intern will support the Procurement/Supply Chain team in identifying, evaluating, and managing suppliers to ensure the timely and cost-effective procurement of goods and services. This role is ideal for fresh graduates, particularly those with a degree in Industrial Engineering, who are looking to gain hands-on experience in procurement and supply chain management.. Key Responsibilities:. . Supplier Research: Assist in identifying potential suppliers, analyzing their capabilities, and compiling data to support sourcing decisions.. . Request for Quotations (RFQs): Help in preparing and sending out RFQs to suppliers, gathering and comparing quotes, and summarizing the findings for decision-making.. . Cost Analysis: Perform cost analysis and support negotiations with suppliers to secure the best pricing and terms.. . Order Management: Assist in the preparation and management of purchase orders, ensuring timely and accurate processing.. . Supplier Relationships: Help maintain relationships with existing suppliers and support the onboarding process for new suppliers.. . Inventory Management: Collaborate with the procurement team to monitor inventory levels and forecast demand to avoid shortages or overstock situations.. . Data Management: Update and maintain supplier databases, procurement records, and reports to ensure accurate and up-to-date information.. . Process Improvement: Participate in process improvement initiatives to enhance procurement efficiency and reduce costs.. . Compliance: Ensure procurement activities comply with company policies, industry standards, and legal requirements.. . Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with various departments, including production, quality assurance, and finance, to ensure smooth procurement operations.. . . Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering or a related field.. . Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.. . Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).. . Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.. . High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks.. . Familiarity with procurement software or ERP systems is a plus.. .
