As our first dedicated finance hire, you will be a foundational member of our team, building the financial engine that powers our growth.. This is a rare opportunity to get in on the ground floor and build a function from scratch. You will handle the day-to-day financial operations while learning to provide the strategic insights needed to help us scale. This is a hands-on role for a proactive, detail-oriented person who is eager to learn and grow with a fast-moving company.. What you’ll do. Your role will be a blend of core accounting and financial analysis, with a clear path to taking on more strategic responsibilities as you and the company grow.. . Core Accounting & Operations:. . . Own the full accounts receivable process to ensure timely collections.. . Manage and execute the accounts payable process.. . Perform monthly reconciliations for all bank and credit card accounts.. . Code all monthly transactions and prepare journal entries to ensure financials are accurate and GAAP-compliant.. . Help manage payroll and benefits administration.. . . . Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A):. . . Assist in developing and maintaining the company's financial models, budgets, and forecasts.. . Help prepare financial dashboards and reports for leadership, board, and investor discussions.. . Track and analyze key SaaS metrics (e.g., ARR, LTV, CAC, churn) to provide actionable insights.. . . . Tax & Compliance:. . . Assist in managing the company’s tax strategy and ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local regulations for our LLC (taxed as an S-corp).. . Liaise with our external CPA firm to ensure timely and accurate filings.. . Help establish and document scalable financial processes and internal controls.. . . What makes you a great fit. . 1-2 years of experience in an accounting or finance role;. exceptional recent graduates with relevant internship experience will be considered.. . A strong understanding of accounting principles (GAAP).. . Highly proficient in Excel; experience with financial modeling is a strong plus.. . Extremely detail-oriented and organized.
