Ruby on Rails Engineer - Latin America - Remote at Azumo. Azumo is looking for a highly motivated Senior Engineer with a minimum of 3 years of experience in Ruby on Rails (RoR). The position is based remotely in Latin America. The developer will work in the EST/ PST time-zone.. Integrate existing applications with third party systems. . Evaluate multiple approaches and technologies to solving a problem.. . Basic Qualifications:. . BS or Master’s degree in Computer Science, related degree, or equivalent experience. . 3+ years experience with backend development, . Ruby on Rails. . . 1+ years experience with virtual-dom based frontend technologies (React or Vue,js). . Deep expertise with Linux and hosted cloud environments (Heroku, AWS, App Engine or other). . Practical experience with open source technologies, including SQL and NoSQL DBs. . Experience integrating solutions with 3rd party APIs (RESTful, OAuth, JSON). .
