The Role. As a . Funding Account Manager. , you will lead and grow relationships with payers, grantmakers, and other funding sources that make behavioral health services more accessible. You’ll act as the operational and strategic bridge between our organization and key stakeholders, ensuring funding pipelines are active, compliant, and delivering measurable impact.. Key Responsibilities. ⚙️ Account Management & Relationship Development. . Own a portfolio of funding accounts (state Medicaid programs, grant partners, health systems, or behavioral health payers) . . Cultivate and maintain strong working relationships with decision-makers, contract managers, and billing contacts . . Serve as the point of contact for all funding-related communications and reporting . . 📊 Funding Strategy & Execution. . Support applications for state/federal grants, behavioral health innovation funds, and other subsidy programs . . Track reimbursement eligibility and ensure compliance with payer rules and grant reporting guidelines . . Collaborate with Growth, Clinical, and Finance teams to align funding strategy with product implementation timelines . . 📈 Performance Tracking & Optimization. . Monitor and analyze funding performance across accounts to improve efficiency and outcomes . . Maintain internal dashboards to track billing, claims, and renewal timelines . . Proactively identify gaps, risks, and areas for expansion within each account . . Who You Are. . 3+ years of experience in account management, behavioral health funding, grants management, or payer partnerships . . Familiarity with Medicaid, value-based care models, grants, and behavioral health reimbursement structures . . Detail-oriented, proactive, and driven to improve health equity through innovative models . .
