Proven experience in a Tech Lead or Senior Data Engineer role within energy trading, commodities, or financial services . . Expert-level skills in Python, Apache Kafka, Databricks, Azure Functions . . Strong experience in designing data architectures and leading end-to-end project implementations . . Exceptional stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to bridge business and technical perspectives . . Solid understanding of trading systems and market data is a strong advantage . . Responsibilities. . Lead the technical direction and design of data integration solutions for the European Power trading platform . . Guide and mentor a team of Data Engineers, providing technical oversight and best practices . . Develop and maintain scalable data pipelines using Python, Databricks, and Azure Functions . . Design and manage real-time data streaming solutions using Apache Kafka . . Ensure high standards in data architecture, quality, and governance . . Collaborate closely with business stakeholders, product owners, and trading teams to understand requirements and translate them into technical solutions . . Drive innovation and continuous improvement across the data engineering stack . . Own the end-to-end delivery of complex data projects, ensuring alignment with business goals and timelines. .
