We are looking for a highly detail-oriented and experienced Production Estimator with a strong background in residential and low to mid-rise commercial construction. The ideal candidate is analytical, accurate, and proactive in managing cost estimations and project margins. You will play a critical role in supporting the sales and construction teams by producing accurate take-offs, tender submissions, and BOQs while ensuring project profitability. This is a remote role requiring excellent communication, time management, and proficiency in Buildertrend and Microsoft Excel.. Key Responsibilities:. . Prepare accurate quantity take-offs from construction plans for use in tender submissions and job costing.. . Develop and maintain detailed costings, Bill of Quantities (BOQs), and job orders for residential and low to mid-rise commercial projects.. . Deliver timely and accurate sales estimates, tender costings, and production documentation to support ongoing projects.. . Assist in refining and maintaining the company's costing systems and inventory databases to ensure pricing accuracy and consistency.. . Ensure project profitability by maintaining margins throughout the job lifecycle and proactively identifying cost-saving opportunities.. . Coordinate closely with the sales, construction, and procurement teams to ensure all estimates align with project requirements and timelines.. . Utilize construction estimation software, primarily Buildertrend to manage and track estimation data.. . Meet set deadlines and performance targets while maintaining a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.. . Required Skills and Qualifications:. . Proven experience as an Estimator in the residential and commercial construction industry, particularly in low to mid-rise developments.. . Tertiary qualification in Building, Construction Management, Quantity Surveying, or a related field is essential.. . Strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and industry pricing structures.. . Proficiency with estimation software, Buildertrend experience is required.. . Advanced Microsoft Excel skills and competency with other standard office software.. . Excellent analytical and numerical skills with a high level of accuracy.. .
