As a Principal Cloud Architect, you will play a pivotal role in guiding organizations through complex cloud transformations, designing scalable and secure multi-cloud architectures, and implementing Infrastructure-as-Code solutions that drive meaningful business outcomes. You will combine deep technical expertise with strategic insight to advise clients, mentor teams, and influence cloud practices across industries. Working in a dynamic, client-facing environment, you will lead technical engagements, contribute to open-source communities, and shape the adoption of modern cloud and DevOps practices. Your work will directly impact how organizations leverage cloud technologies while ensuring reliability, security, and efficiency at scale.. Accountabilities. · Lead client engagements by designing, implementing, and presenting secure, scalable cloud architectures and migration strategies.. · Develop reusable infrastructure components, frameworks, and governance models, promoting best practices for Infrastructure-as-Code and GitOps workflows.. · Deliver high-quality technical solutions, troubleshoot complex challenges, and ensure automation and reliability across cloud deployments.. · Mentor architects and engineers through workshops, talks, and hands-on guidance, fostering knowledge sharing and continuous learning.. · Contribute to professional services practice growth by creating offerings, patterns, and practices aligned with strategic objectives.. · Support pre-sales activities, including proposals, solution design, and building strong relationships with technical stakeholders.. · 10+ years of hands-on cloud architecture and engineering experience across major cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP), including hybrid and multi-cloud environments.. · 8+ years in professional services, consulting, or client-facing technical roles with experience delivering complex enterprise engagements.. · 5+ years of hands-on Infrastructure-as-Code expertise, ideally with Pulumi, or familiarity with Terraform, CloudFormation, ARM templates, or similar tools.. · Strong programming skills in Python, TypeScript/JavaScript, Go, or C#.. · Proficiency with CI/CD pipelines, DevOps practices, and cloud security, compliance, and governance.. · Excellent project management, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills.. · Demonstrated thought leadership through speaking, writing, or open-source contributions; ability to convey complex technical concepts to diverse audiences.. · Preferred: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field, relevant cloud certifications (AWS, Azure, GCP), experience with service mesh technologies, observability platforms, and compliance frameworks..
