You’ll collaborate across technical teams and help ensure that complex data workflows run smoothly, efficiently, and at global scale—all within a mission-driven, innovative work environment.. . Accountabilities:. . Improve and maintain advanced image processing algorithms used to generate Mosaic (Basemap) products.. . Ensure reliable, efficient, and scalable global data production pipelines.. . Optimize system performance to ensure timely delivery of customer-requested datasets.. . Collaborate with upstream and downstream teams to improve image acquisition, quality control, and product delivery.. . Own and evolve scheduling systems that determine production priorities based on data availability and customer needs.. . . . Minimum 4 years of experience in a related engineering or data science role.. . Strong proficiency in scientific Python programming.. . Familiarity with geospatial data and/or image processing methodologies.. . Proven experience deploying scalable software workloads in production environments.. . Excellent communication skills, especially in asynchronous and remote-first settings.. . Comfortable with collaborative version control tools such as GitHub or GitLab.. .
